Oasis Coffee Fundraiser!

What are you doing this Friday between 2pm and 5pm? Why? Oh, just wondering. See, I have information saying that pretty much the coolest thing ever is happening. I know, right? Word on the street is that there's gonna be one heck of a party going on at Oasis Coffee on 7802 Goddard rd. in Boise, ID. Serious! So, feel free to stop by on the way to your graduation parties, on the way to the grocery store, to get dinner, or whatever! Oh, what's it for? To help out Colin and Kona get to Europe, duh! They say that a large portion of every drink or beverage bought will be donated towards Colin and Kona's ambassadorship to Spain, Italy and France this July!

On top of all that, check this out! Recently, a story was published in the Idaho Statesman about a group of students from Timberline High School who had raised all their money to go on a trip to France! Awesome, right? Totally-that is until the travel company they were going through went into bankruptcy. Not cool. All the money the kids had raised was flushed down the toilet- more than $40,000! Non-refundable, no cash back.
Well, on hearing of this unbelievable let-down, Colin and Kona decided they wanted to help. That's why 50% of all the funds raised at the fundraiser on Friday will be donated to this class for them to use it to fill their money hole, or to put towards a future trip.
Awesome, right?

Garage Sale, Part 2!

Due to high demand, and the loads of stuff we still have, the garage sale had a "to be continued" tacked on to the end of today. Sunday: the sequel! Here are the specs:

Day: Sunday May 24th

Time: 8am-2ish (or until we get tired of you all :-P )

Where: 6000 Northview st.

What you can expect: A large assortment of items, various shapes and sizes! These include: beautiful dark wood dresser and hutch, a large collection of clothes (designer, and not so much), exercise equipment, and plenty of knick knacks to sort through!


Finally, if you come during lunch hours (10:30-finish) hot dogs, drinks, and chips will be available to purchase!

Pancake Breakfast #2

Time for Pancake Breakfast, round two! Here are the specs:

When: This Saturday May 2nd from 7-10am. Come and go anytime within that time frame.

Where: Applebees on Eagle rd. in Meridian. Right by Krispy Kreme.

How much: tickets are $7 and need to be purchased beforehand. Leave a comment if you would like some :)

Succesful Morning!

Wow! What an awesome morning! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported Kona and I at our Pancake Breakfast fund raiser!

We arrived at Applebees (Eagle/Fairview) at about 6:30am to get things prepped for the 7am start time. People began trickling in about 7:15ish, but it wasn't until about 8:30 that it got busy. And boy did it ever! Kona and I took our own section (the other four Student Ambassadors helping had other sections) and had such a fun time bussing and serving table after table :) Not only did it provide good time to make good $$$, it also gave us the opportunity to talk more about fund-raising ideas these next couple months.

Fundraiser #1: Pancake Breakfast

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to update you on how things are going in regards to fundraising for this summer's trip. We're moving along one step at a time, and could really use your help.

This Saturday Colin and I are participating in a fundraiser put on at Applebees. Here are the specifics:
What: Pancake breakfast fundraiser with all the hook-ups: sausage, pancakes, oj, and coffee.
Where: Meridian Applebees on Eagle Road (map below)
When: This Saturday, April 4th from 7-10am. Feel free to stop by at any time.
How much: Tickets must be purchased before hand from either Colin or me. (contact info at the bottom). Tickets will be $7 per person.
